Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg told brown he could be sent to state prison if he violated any term of his sentence, including an order to stay away from the pop star for the next five years.

Brown will serve his sentence in his home state of Virginia. The judge says she wanted to ensure that Brown, 20, performs physical labor instead of community service, such as mentoring young people. A felony charge of making criminal threats was dropped. Rihanna did not attend the sentencing.

The wife of the 37 year old officer ran to a neighbor’s house with her 4 year old son and said her husband had slammed her head on a kitchen counter. The couple had been apparently arguing over an affair the husband was involved in when the wife called his girlfriend a name. The officer became enraged and carried her from their bedroom to the kitchen where he slammed her head onto a granite counter top. The wife had a lump on her head and a bruise on her biceps according to a deputy.  Casselberry police confiscated his police car, gear and gun and his AR-15 rifle.
